I had a dev site running in a subdomain. I backed it up using Akeeba and restored it to the root web folder (the subdomain was in a sub directory).

This plugin worked on the subdirectory, but on the root gives me the error:

Data Transfer Exception - An unexpected data transfer exception occurred while calling XML-RPC method blogger.getUsersBlogs

IOException - Unable to read data from the transport connection: The connection was closed.

The .htaccess files are the same for both the domain and the subdomain. Can you give me a hint of what else I can check? (Running on Hostgator, connecting with Windows Live Writer.)
Andrew
