Hi, I'm new on this forum. I use JBackup and it works ok. But it's not clear to me what to do with the backup file that the system sends me.
How can I put back the backup? It's a .gz file and don't know what to do with it....
It's nice to have a daily backup, but what's next to do with it?

It is a backup file of the database.

If Ungz, you will be able to see SQL file.
When the trouble happens to the system, you can return the database to former state by importing doing the SQL file by using phpMyAdmin etc.
