I have the strangest problem. I have installed this api and am using Windows Live Writer to update my Joomla pages. Everything works fine but if I use multiple images on the same page, all the images are the same image (/images/stories/image.png). If image1 is a bird and image2 is a dog, all the images are the dog.

It's very wierd. It seems that the image file name isn't being renamed in sequential order somehow.

With the current specifications, This plugin do not change a file name at all. Therefore it is overwritten if it is the same file name.

By the next version up, support it.

Can you design it so that it names the image based on YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS? That way, each image that is uploaded will be a unique image with its own filename?

Probably, the filename is own filename + unique hash.

And add a parameter of ON/OFF overwrite to backend
