I installed the MovableType API on a Joomla 1.5.14 site.

When I create an account on podcasting service to post to my site, I use http://mysite.com/xmlrpc/index.php as the XML-RPC URL and my Joomla site administrator username and password. Although it appears to connect to the blog service, I get a message that "No blogs found for this service."

So I tried connecting with Zoundry. I again used http://mysite.com/xmlrpc/index.php as the XML-RPC URL and my Joomla site administrator username and password. Zoundry return an error, "Error fetching list of blogs." The details button shows an error 301, specifically, "blogger.getUsersBlogs' type:XMLRPC Protocol Error, code:301 msg:Moved Permanently".

Clearly I am doing something wrong. Can anyone help?

I played around with this issue and finally got it to work!

The resolution?

http://www.mysite.com/xmlrpc/index.php

instead of

http://mysite.com/xmlrpc/index.php
