Problems in 2.1.1 4 Months ago Karma: 0
I just installed MovableType API 2.1.1 in Joomla 1.5.6, and work fine. But have the following problems.

A. After installed the plugin, in the backend show it is 2.0.1 (I downloaded from http://www.joomler.net/component/option,com_docman/task,doc_download/gid,85/Itemid,2/ )

1. From Google Doc, No matter what I imput in the Topic/Tag Field, the article sent to default categorey. What should I input? the name or the alias of Category in Joomla should be input in Google? Any format needed? In your demo you only sent to default but didn't show how to choose others.

2. When I use ScribeFire (2.3.2) as editor, it show up the list of Category, but didn't show which one the article belong to (the check box without a tick). But start from beginning, it have.

3. Same in Scribefire, When I try to delete the posted article, it error:
"Incorrect parameters passed to method: Wanted boolean, got int at param 5" and cannot. I remember I tried and successed in the first time.

Thanks.
Steven

I installed Frontpage Auto Update, I don't think it is problem beause it is from you too. However, I have JoomFish, is it the problem?

Hi,

Because nothing has been transmitted by Google Docs, this cannot support. Therefore it is always contributed to a default category.

Perhaps I feel that the category of the article is not reflected for specifications change of ScribeFire.

This is so that ScribeFire transmits Integer value though XML-RPC side demands Boolean value.
There is doing it Hack in a XML-RPC library of Joomla! whether you wait for ScribFire to support it.

Hack: Example
Root/libraries/phpxmlrpc/xmlrpcs.php
insert into line:733
Code:

Thanks,

and What kind of error does Frontpage Auto update display?

Thanks for your reply.

Thank mean Google Doc can only upload to default category and cannot choose, and scribefire is not good.

Do you have any suggestion which editor is the best to use with your MovableType API?

The error of FAUdate is because of no article in category. It is ok now.

Thanks

Hi,

Recommending it is Windows Live Writer or Zoundry of old version.

But I make the next version that supported ScribeFire because I understood a cause.

Please wait for a while.

Thanks
