初めまして佐藤と申します。(Joomla初心者です。)

1.0系はモジュールポジションを確認できる管理画面があったようなんですが、
1.5ではそのようなものは無いのでしょうか？

実際にテンプレートのソースをのぞいて確認するしかないんですかね？？

記事の下部にmod_related_items で「関連記事」を表示したいなあと思っているのですが、
どのようにすればよいかよくわかっていません。

何かアドバイスいただけると幸いです。

Joomla!1.0.xではたしかに以前ありましたが、実際どこにそのポジション名があるか試さないとわかりませんでした。
Joomla!1.5では、もっとわかりやすくなっていますよ。
テンプレートマネージャでテンプレートの編集画面からプレビューのボタンを押してみて下さい。文字が重なっちゃってわかりづらいこともあるようですが、ポジションがビジュアルに表示されます。

また、欲しいポジションがなければ、テンプレートの該当箇所に
QUOTE:
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="あなたのポジション名" />

のように書き、テンプレートのxmlファイルの以下のようなところに行を追加し、
QUOTE:
<position>あなたのポジション名</position>

のように書き足せばモジュールポジションで選択できるようになります。
※現在あるポジション数で間に合う場合は書き足す必要はありません。

確かに表示されました。これ便利ですね！

ちなみに ポジションの後ろに[table outline] とか[none outline] とか書いてあるのはどういう意味なんでしょうか？
