Hello,

we installed movabletype_2.0.0_english_for_1.0.x.zip and the installation worked fine, published the mambot and unzipped the file xmlrpc.zip.

When we try to access the Joomla installation with Live Writer, we get the error:
801
Authentication failed

The username (admin) and password are correct, they are also used to login to the /administrator directory.

Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable
PHP Version: 5.1.6

Any suggestions?

Please update Joomla than version 1.0.13.

The generation method of the password hash is changed.

Hi,

the upgrade to Joomla 1.0.15 worked fine.

Additionally I had to set the password for the admin user again, so the new password hash was written to the database.
