English how to 1 Year ago Karma: 0
Hello

Can we please have some English support as babblefish does not work that well.

1. How to install - what is required do we need to download other files first.
2. Do we just download the plugin for 1.5
3. Or do we download all the defualt files from greybox developers and set this up on our domain.
4. Do we have to add anything to our template index files
5. More importantly in joomla 1.5 how do we use this pluguin for greybox in a article.

Mentions something about url add.

what would be good is a step by step how to on importing a image into the content on 1.5 and what and how you get greybox to work

thank you.

Hi,

How to install
1. Please download Joomler_GreyBox_1.0.1_for_Joomla1.5.zip from this site.
2. Open your Backend of Joomla!1.5.
3. Extensions > Install/Uninstall
Upload Package File > Package File: input Joomler_GreyBox_1.0.1_for_Joomla1.5.zip of your local file.
And push Upload File & Install.

If error message appears, please post it here.

4. Open the page of GreyBox plugin.

By the following articles, You can watch the usage of English for setting.

Easy setting...
example:
Output GreyBox.js => Yes
All Articles => Yes
Plugin Published => Yes
You do these three setting and usually work.

QUOTE:
Do we have to add anything to our template index files

You do not need to edit template file if Output GreyBox.js is Yes.

It is existence of Javascript which it uses Window Onload for that attention in particular is necessary.
As for it, a collision of Javascript is thought about if GreyBox does not work though Javascript of GreyBox is read.
Please check the operation then after turning off other Javascript once.

Please reply to this because there may be my unknown error if error message is displayed.

Thanks.

Re:English how to 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I have been trying to get this working myself and at the moment I have failed.

I have the latest version of Joomla 1.5. I have added the plug-in and activated it. however none of my images pop-open into a lightbox (or greybox). For all other plugins that do something similar I have had to put some kind of code into the content item (such as {lightbox}filename{/lightbox}) but it appears that I do not have to do this for this plug-in - Is that correct?

I do have some other plug-ins installed. Could these be conflicting with this one? Although I have disabled all other content plug-ins and this still doesn't work.

Any help appreciated as this looks like another extension that I can make great use of

Paul

Thank you for use.

This plug-in works with following HTML.
example:
Code:

Only this.
The link of your image is displayed with Greybox.
Of course, Greybox should be enabled.

There is no special tag needing.

Please write as follows when you do not want to display it.
Code:

and plugin setting is here
